Hey — this is NBG Arena.
We got tired of running quizzes
in the group chat.
Someone always scrolls past. Someone answers late. The scores live in a screenshot nobody trusts. So we built a room for it: a timed pool, the same ten questions, five seconds each, and a board that actually keeps score.
Here’s how a night usually goes. You (or us) open a pool, set when it starts and when it ends, and send people a link. They join before the window closes. Then everyone plays the same round — no pausing, no going back.
If you want to host, you can grab questions from our bank or write your own. That’s the bit we care about. A study group can load chemistry. Cousins can load movie quotes. You don’t have to wait for us to invent your night.
Points aren’t just “how many did you get right.” We mix in how you play and the fact that you showed up. Grinding fifty games won’t automatically beat the person who was sharp in one.
Stuff people actually do here
- Friday with friends. Make a private room, dump in your own questions, send the code. Winner buys dinner. Or doesn’t. We’re not the police.
- Wander into an open contest. No host required. Pick a live pool, play the round, see where you sit on that board.
- A slightly chaotic study session. Same format, your topics. Faster than a flashcard app, meaner than a group call.
If that sounds like your kind of night, come in.
Accounts are free. Hosting is free. Losing to your little cousin is optional, but likely.
